Customizable itinerary

Prepare to be captivated by the raw, untamed beauty of Indonesia on this extraordinary 5-day Komodo tour from Bali.

Venture into the domain of the legendary Komodo dragon, the world’s most giant lizard, as you explore the islands of Rinca, Kalong, Padar, and Komodo itself. Witness these prehistoric creatures in their natural habitat, an experience that will leave you in awe of the power and grace of these remarkable beings. But the wonders of this region extend far beyond the iconic Komodo dragons. Gaze in wonder at the serene landscapes of Padar Island, discover the vibrant colony of fruit bats that call Kalong Island home, and indulge in the tranquility of Pink Beach, a natural wonder that derives its hue from the crushed coral that lines its shores.

This itinerary promises an unforgettable adventure that will ignite your senses and leave you with memories to cherish for a lifetime.

A warm greeting awaits at Bali International Airport; your private guide and driver will meet you in the arrivals lounge and drive to Labuan Bajo harbor. The trip will start by cruising to Rinca Island for approximately 2 hours, lunch will be served on board.

Upon arriving at Rinca Island, observe the Komodo dragons on this island in their natural environment and other wild animals such as deer, horses, birds, wild buffaloes. In the afternoon, we will continue cruising to Pulau Koaba, which is also known as Kalong Island (Fruit Bat Island), a low-lying circular island measuring 500m across and appearing to comprise a core of taller trees surrounded by dense mangrove. At dusk, the sight of thousands of bats leaving their roost and heading for their feeding grounds is a magnificent spectacle.

If the weather permits, we can take an evening cruise to Padar island.

The total number of these lizards is estimated at 3500 – 5000 inhabited in Komodo, Padar and Rinca Island.

Asia Pioneer Is The Pinnacle of Travel

From the moment we contacted Asia Pioneer Travel we were impressed with the immediate customer service of Lizzie Pham, the detailed itinerary and the quality of hotels/attractions that were planned. Dave served in the American/Vietnam War (1968) and at the time only saw the beauty of the war torn hillsides. He has wanted to return for several years to explore the country of Vietnam from top to bottom. Asia Pioneer Travel made it possible to explore the culture, the beauty and the history from Hanoi, to Hue, to Ho Chi Minh City and down to the Mekong Delta in 14 days. All of the hotels were four star, beautiful hotels with impeccable customer service, elegant breakfasts and comfortable beds. We can’t give enough credit to our guides and drivers, in Hanoi – Eric/Duong, in Hue/Hoi An/Da Nang – Phong/Kien and in Ho Chi Minh City/Mekong Delta – Hao/Loc. They were all informative, always on time and went above and beyond to take care of us (the elderly). They will remain in our hearts and in our photos forever. Thank you Asia Pioneer Travel and Lizzie Pham for creating and delivering a trip of a lifetime for us! With the upmost of gratitude, Dave and Cheryl Jothen

You won’t regret working with Asia Pioneer!

What an amazing experience! We were a bit apprehensive that the itinerary was too good to be true …..but it was accurate! Having a guide everyday removed the scariness and revealed history and culture we wouldn’t have found on our own. It was great to not have a large group of people to share the guide with. Memories created for a life time: street and local food, temples, palaces, overnight on a San pan, cyclo ride through old French town, motorcycles in the rain….. and so much more. Thank you Asia Pioneer!
