Customizable Itinerary
Hanoi - Ha Giang
8:00 a.m.: Departure from Hanoi for Ha Giang, a mythical province in northern Vietnam, where the mountains create breathtaking landscapes. After a winding road revealing grandiose panoramas, you will reach the village of Thon Tha in the afternoon. A setting of serenity nestled in the hollow of the mountains and bordered by vibrant rice fields.
There, time seems to stand still. A gentle stroll will take you through the village, between traditional houses, flower gardens and outcropping rocks. The inhabitants, warm and smiling, will welcome you with the kindness specific to the people of the North. Here, hospitality is not just a word, but a true philosophy of life.
At nightfall, a dinner with a local will immerse you in the heart of their culture, with tasty dishes, lively conversations and, of course, a few glasses of rice wine, a real local nectar. But be careful… after such an immersion, you may well not want to leave the next day, the experience will be so unforgettable!
Overnight in Ha Giang.

Ha Giang – Dong Van Karst Geopark
After a final shared breakfast and warm farewells to your hosts, you will set off towards one of Vietnam’s natural treasures: the Dong Van Karst High Plateau Geopark, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Throughout the journey, several stops will allow you to admire breathtaking landscapes. Dizzying mountains stand proudly under the clear sky.
In the afternoon, immerse yourself in history with a visit to the old fortified palace of the Vuong family, nicknamed the “Palace of the Hmong King”. Its unique architecture, mixing Chinese and local influences, tells of the sumptuous past of a dynasty that once ruled the region.
At dusk, you will reach the town of Dong Van, where peach and plum blossoms splash the streets with pastel hues. Installation at your hotel and night in the heart of this enchanting setting.
Overnight in Dong Van.

Dong Van - Meo Vac - Bao Lac
Early in the morning, departure for Meo Vac via one of the most spectacular roads in Vietnam: the Ma Pi Leng pass, nicknamed by locals the “Road of Happiness”. And for good reason… Here, the mountains sculpted by time stand majestically, plunging steeply into misty valleys. The road winds along the side of cliffs, offering dizzying panoramas. No need to look for tourist attractions: the raw beauty of these landscapes is sufficient in itself, intact and preserved.
You will then continue your journey through the winding roads of the Pa Vi massif, where nature, grandiose and impassive, seems to reign supreme. Then, change of perspective with a boat trip on the Nho Que River. You will slide into the hollow of the Tu San canyon, one of the deepest and most impressive in the country. Between dizzying walls and emerald waters, every moment will be a total immersion in the wild grandeur of the North.
Lunch in a local restaurant in Meo Vac, a small town nestled in the heart of a peaceful valley.
In the afternoon, the road continues towards Bao Lac. You will arrive at the end of the day. Check-in for the night in a simple but comfortable hotel, perfect for a relaxing stopover before the next stage of your trip.
Overnight in Bao Lac – Cao Bang province.

Bao Lac - Ba Be
After breakfast, immerse yourself in the traditional Bao Lac market, a vibrant event that only takes place every five days. The alleys come alive with the colors of embroidered fabrics, the scent of spices and the voices of ethnic minorities – Hmong, Lolo Noirs, Tày – who come to exchange crafts, livestock and local products.
On the way to Cao Bang, stop at the village of Khuoi Khon, nestled in the heart of the rice terraces. Here, nature abounds and life flows to the rhythm of traditions: animal care, embroidery, weaving and community songs.
Lunch on the way then continuation to Ba Be National Park, a natural sanctuary. Installation at the end of the day in a peaceful lodge overlooking the largest natural lake in Vietnam. A warm evening awaits, lulled by the sounds of the lake in the moonlight. Night at the lodge.
Overnight in Bac Can.

Ba Be - Hanoi
When you wake up, let yourself be enchanted by the morning tranquility of Lake Ba Be by embarking on a peaceful cruise on its emerald waters. You will slide between limestone cliffs and tropical forest, the boat will take you to the Dau Dang waterfall. The white waters meander between imposing blocks of rock, enveloped by lush vegetation.
Continuation of the excursion with a cultural immersion in the village of Cam Ha. You will discover the daily life of the inhabitants and their centuries-old traditions. Then, head to the Puong Cave, an impressive natural cavity carved out by the Nang River, sheltering a colony of thousands of bats. The atmosphere is almost unreal, between the play of light and shadow and the muffled echoes of quivering wings.
Lunch in a local restaurant in Cho Ra, before taking the road to Hanoi. Throughout the journey, the northern landscapes are revealed one last time, between misty mountains and fertile valleys.
Arrival in Hanoi mid-afternoon, check-in at your hotel and free time for one last evening in the capital.
