This was my first ever travel agency experience and it was fantastic. We took 2 weeks and saw Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. I bought the tickets to and from our location and Elly did the rest (including buying tickets in between the countries and getting E-visas). Everything was top-notch and it was great to have a private guide and transportation everywhere we went. The guides imparted so much knowledge and took care of us like we were family. This is the easiest way to vacation and we felt like VIPs! We elected for 4-star lodging and they were all INCREDIBLE. In fact, we loved it so much that we used their services again in the spring. We had the most amazing family vacation in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Singapore. Stella, our tour manager, was absolutely fantastic. She planned the perfect holiday with a nice balance of culture, adventure, and down time. This is our 2nd time using Asia Pioneer (we went to Thailand in 2018) and they do not disappoint. I have recommended them to all of our friends and family. We loved SE Asia and will be returning – Asian Pioneer will definitely be planning our next trip there.

Our trip was beyond wonderful! It was a short 7-day trip, but we packed it in with activities and experiences! We stayed at the most amazing hotels and took the most interesting tours. Stella, our travel specialist at Asia Pioneer, was simply the best! I can’t thank her enough and I highly recommend her. She was very responsive and receptive to our questions and requests and really worked to make our plans perfect. Some of our favorite activities were the Vespa tour in Saigon, the street food tour in Hanoi, the Cu Chi Tunnel tour and, of course, the relaxing cruise in Ha Long Bay.

I found out about Asia Pioneer Travel when I was browsing online a possible and legit tour agency for our Da Nang Trip. I was hesitant at first to get their service but after talking to Cherry thru phone, I took the risk and she never fails me. Our tour is personalized and it is just within our budget. She kept on checking on us while we were in Da Nang which made us feel safe and comfortable. Our tour guides namely Chau and Tung did their job well, too. We learned so much about Vietnam specifically Da Nang from them. I would be looking forward to get their service again when we visit other Asian countries in the future.

I would like to personally thank Stella Nguyen from the Asia pioneer team who was very patient with us( a group of 10) through out the planning process. She was very swift with her responses and made several changes to our tour itinerary with no complaints.

We wanted to travel though Laos, Vietnam and into Cambodia and decided the best way would be to find a tour agency to assist and organise for us given we have not been before. We were travelling to Malaysia first then Thailand then onto Laos, but would manage the first part ourselves. We selected Asia Pioneer Travel and were assigned Lizzie as our travel expert. We briefed her on an outline of where we wanted to go and for how long and she managed it all from there. In preparing the itinerary, we continued to have a say in places to stay at and things to do after her recommendations. We found the whole planning process fun and making us already look forward to our adventure. Lizzie was so helpful in organising, ensuring we were prepared and informed and really quick to respond to our emails and questions. But our surprise was just how good her selection of adventure, tour guides and drivers as well as accommodation were. Tour guides were so prompt, attentive, flexible if we wanted to change anything given the hot climate and great with speaking english and the drivers so experienced navigating through at time heavy traffic and always offering things like cold drinks and ice cold flannels as we return from our walks. Our adventures were just so good especially given as first time to these countries, it was easy to feel a love for the people there and recognise their resilience and energy especially the young generation coming through. Some of our guides went above and beyond being happy to stay with us at night time and show us placers to eat, shop and relax. Behind all this was the support from Asia Pioneer Travel with Lizzie in constant contact to ensure all was well and knowing any issues were just a phone call away. We had 24 days and not one glitch the whole time. An example would be a guide taking us to catch a train and not leaving till we were firmly settle in our train compartment. No definitely couldn’t ask any more from a service provider and these memories we have made will be cherished forever. Something tells me we will be back sometime later to enjoy seeing the land, food and people of this part of our world.
As to the negatives on our trip, the only one was the weather being unlucky to strike Halong Bay trip when it was really cold. The day we got off the boat was perfect and great temperature! It didn’t stop us though enjoying the great sights, boat trips and people on board.
