Thank you and Happy New Year

Xin Chao Mr Lam

Chuc Mung Nam Moi to you and your family and hope you had an enjoyable relaxing time during Tet.
Well we are back home and have been busy sorting through all our pictures which will give us happy memories. The family joined us for dinner yesterday and enjoyed our photographs and stories.

Thank you for arranging a most relaxing holiday, and we especially enjoyed the time and places shown to us by Mr Dong (Hanoi) Mr Thoung and driver Mr Hai (Hoi An and Hue) Mrs Yen from Ho Chi Minh City and of course Mr Tom from Dragon Pearl 1. They all did an excellent job with their knowledge on places visited as well as the history of your country. Their warmth, friendliness and good humour made our trip a most happy event. It was also nice to meet you and your restaurant recommendation for Pho was certainly a great choice. We have a local Vietnamese restaurant nearby, so will certainly be going there for Pho.

All our accommodation was excellent and hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

The colours of flowers for Tet in Ho Chi Minh City were just amazing as well as the street displays, and we wish that we had the extra days there to enjoy the festivities of Lunar New Year.

Yes, we have quite a large population of Chinese and Vietnamese people living in Brisbane, as well as a lovely Buddhist temple nearby. My family said that this year there were no fireworks display which has always been wonderful for the residents to see.

If you ever visit Australia, Barry and I would be delighted to meet you again and show you our city of Brisbane.

As yet we are not members of Tripadvisor and we must join, but we are members of a travel group and would certainly recommend your company to anyone wishing to visit Vietnam.

We both had a most enjoyable, memorable and relaxed holiday and there would be nothing in our itinerary that we would change.

A picture of Brisbane for you

Regards

Alicia and Barry Cook
