This Bali family tour is packed with fun and exciting experiences! Enjoy the stunning landscape of Ubud with a cycling tour, get to know the gentle giants at Elephant Safari Park, and feel the adrenaline rushing through your body while going whitewater rafting on Ayung River. Learn about the rich Balinese culture at Batubulan through the traditional Barong dance, which tells the story about the good and the evil spirits. Venture to the eastern region of Bali for a great view over Lake Batur and the iconic Tegalalang rice terraces. Finally, enjoy the stretching beach of Sanur, perfect for relaxing and a wide range of watersports.
A warm greeting awaits at Bali International Airport; your private guide and driver will meet you at the arrivals lounge and drive you directly to your hotel. Your knowledgeable guide will be happy to answer any questions along the way and will assist you with check-in and registration at the hotel.
After a short rest, we’ll take a short drive from the south of Bali to Ubud. The Balinese kings, benevolent to the arts, transformed their court seat into a true global village. Ubud shops, galleries and craft shops blend traditional arts and crafts with modern design. Visiting European artists, attracted by the lure of an untouched tropical paradise, were encouraged to stay. They gave new impetus to the existing local arts, while creating some exciting new forms in the process. This atmosphere reverbs to this day. A visit to Ubud means indulging in the local arts, visiting the ancient temples and enjoying the archetypical Balinese surroundings of steep gorges and sculpted rice fields.
This fantastic fun-filled tour is Bali’s best value for a day of action and excitement. Start with the full view of Mt Batur Volcano, cycle your way through some of the island’s most beautiful scenery, leading you directly into the Elephant Safari Park. Here your own elephant will wait to take you on a 35-minute safari through the forest of Taro. A full buffet lunch will be served, overlooking the elephant bathing lake. Feel free to hand feed and interact with these gentle giants.
Later, transfer to our famous White-Water Rafting on the Ayung River. You will travel through exotic landscape, down 27 sets of class II-III rapids for approximately 1.5 hours of exciting rafting.

Today, we will have the best of culture and nature in a day. First, you will attend a playful introduction to the Balinese philosophy. The gracious Barong dance in Batubulan, performed by professional actors and dancers. Proceed to the rightfully famous woodcarving center of Mas. Young artisans with amazing skills emblaze tropical woods with life.
Then drive further to the east, enjoy the breathtaking view over the volcano and Lake of Batur, while having lunch in Penelokan, Kintamani. This is the largest lake in Bali and can be found in the smaller, secondary caldera of the Batur volcano, right at the foot of Mount Abang.
A final stop will be made at Tegalalang Rice Terraces before you reach the final destination in Sanur.

Successful Birthday Trip for International Adoptee
As an international adoptee visiting my birth country for the first time since being adopted at 1.5 years old this journey was emotionally complicated for me. Asia Pioneer staff Stella Nguyen and her tour team made that journey for me more comfortable. I truly felt welcomed back into my birth country and each of the tour guides I met with were very knowledgeable and helpful. Both Danny and Tim helped me reconnect back to my roots as each gave me indepth history and information regarding Thai culture.
Also, each of the hotels that were selected were all beautiful and unique. The hotel staff were always helpful and professional during my stay. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at these hotels for comfort, cleanliness, and location. I really enjoyed the fact that these hotels were at the center or very close to all the local events, clubs, markets, and stores.
Additionally, this trip was a birthday gift to myself and Asia Pioneer made sure this detail was passed onto those along the tour. The tour guides blessed me with birthday greeting, small gift, and even dessert the night of my birthday. The hotel I stayed at during my birthday also welcomed me by adorning my room with birthday greeting spread on the hotel bed with flowers and towels shaped into elephants and a heart plus a dessert garnished with Happy Birthday chocolate. It all made me feel special for my birthday.
