Overview

  • Day 1–2: Kathmandu

    Arrival, hotel check‑in, yoga/meditation + full Kathmandu sightseeing of heritage sites

  • Day 3–4: White‑water rafting & transfer

    Drive to Trishuli River for rafting, overnight camp by river, then drive to Pokhara.

  • Day 5–9: Trekking to Poon Hill and back

    From Pokhara drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga, then trek to Ghorepani and early morning hike up to Poon Hill for sunrise views, descend via Chomrong and Nayapul back to Pokhara.

  • Day 10: Pokhara leisure day

    Free time to explore Pokhara and its surroundings at your own pace.

  • Day 11–12: Return to Kathmandu & Departure

    Drive back to Kathmandu with farewell dinner/cultural show, then depart.

Day 1

Kathmandu – Arrival

Your private tour guide will meet you at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) and will escort you by private car to your selected hotel in Tribhuwan. Your knowledgeable guide will be happy to answer any questions along the way regarding your adventure in Nepal and will assist you with check-in and registration at the hotel.

In the evening, you will have a Yoga and Meditation class.

Day 2

Kathmandu Exploration Day

After breakfast, you will go on the Kathmandu sightseeing tour. You are going to take part in the UNESCO CULTURAL HERITAGE TOUR today which includes:
Swoyambhunath – The oldest Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu Valley, a beautiful abode for lots of monkeys thus also known as Monkey Temple, is also a perfect vantage point to see Kathmandu valley.
Pashupatinath – A holy pilgrimage for Hindus and Hindu Crematorium, watch as the Hindu dead bodies are cremated in the most unique way in the world; we come across men with ash rubbed body, matted locks and dreaded look, which is the typical look of a Hindu Holy Men known as Sadhus.
Boudhanath – the biggest Buddhist temple in the world; a site for Tibetan Buddhism where we can visit monasteries, watch the Holy Monks busy in their chanting ritual going around the temple.
Patan Durbar Square – A Medieval Royal Palace area which is also known as the city of fine arts, we can see the finest example of metal and stone carving back to 14th century and also the amazing Nepali Architecture.

Day 3

Kathmandu – Trishuli river

After the morning Yoga class and breakfast, you will have a 3-hour drive to start rafting in Trishuli river, an experience of Himalayan white water rush. Once you reach the riverbank you will have some briefing about rafting and on the equipment start doing rafting for about 3 hours. After that, you will stop for lunch and continue rafting for about an hour. Tonight, you will stay by the romantic riverbank, with exciting tented camp, barbeque activities, camp firing music and more.

Day 4

Trishuli river – Drive to Pokhara

After breakfast on the riverbank, you will drive to the lake city– Pokhara in about 4 hours by your Private van / bus.

Day 5

Pokhara – Nayapul– Trekking to Tikhedhunga

After breakfast, you will take a 1.5-hour drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and start trekking to Tikhedhunga / Ulleri.

Day 6

Tikhedhunga – Trek to Ghorepani

After breakfast, you will trek to Ghorepani – spend 5 to 6 hours walking through village and jungle (watch out for the steps and the donkeys, too).

Day 7

Ghorepani – Poon Hill – Sunrise view

In the early morning, you will hike to Poon Hill to watch the fabulous sunrise and mountain view. In clear days, you will have an opportunity to see panoramic and close up view of 10 different Himalayan peaks. Then you will trek back to Ghorepani and enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast, you will start trekking to Tadapani – spend 5 to 6 hours enjoying a nice wild walk through the forest.

Day 8

Ghorepani– Trek to Chomrong

After breakfast, you will start trekking down to Chomrong. Then you can choose to stay in Chomrong – a beautiful Gurung Village or walk down to Jhinu (for a natural hot spring bath).

Syauli Bazar – Nayapul– Drive back to Pokhara

Trek to Syauli Bazaar and then to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara by van or bus.

Pokhara – Free day

This day will be yours to explore at your leisure. You can take times to enjoy boating in Phewa Lake of Pokhara, paragliding, zip line, etc.

Pokhara – Kathmandu

You will drive back to Kathmandu today after your breakfast. It takes about 7 hours to reach Kathmandu. You also can fly back with an extra cost. Later in the evening, you will go for a farewell Nepali dinner with cultural show in Kathmandu and can have a discussion about the trip experience.

Day 12

Kathmandu – Departure

After breakfast and a leisurely morning on your own, you will check out by midday and your private driver will pick you up and take you to the airport for your departure flight home. Namaste!
