Day 4 - 10: Gili Trawangan - Senggigi - Jimbaran - Bali - Departure
- Take a speed boat to Gili Trawangan. Enjoy the beautiful beach on the island.
- Transfer to Senggigi. Explore the traditional Sasak dwellings and Senaru village, admire the panoramic view of the Rinjani volcano.
- Head to Jimbaran and take the departure flight from Bali.

A warm greeting awaits at Bali International Airport; your private guide and driver will meet you at the arrival lounge and take you directly to your hotel. Your knowledgeable guide will be happy to answer any questions along the way and will assist you with check-in and registration at the hotel.
After a short rest, we will drive from the south of Bali to Ubud. The Balinese kings, benevolent to the arts, transformed their court seat into a true global village. Ubud shops, galleries and craft shops blend traditional arts and crafts with modern design. Visiting European artists, attracted by the lure of an untouched tropical paradise, were encouraged to stay. They gave new impetus to the existing local arts while creating some exciting new forms in the process. This atmosphere reverbs to this day. A visit to Ubud means indulging in the local arts, visiting the ancient temples and enjoying the archetypical Balinese surroundings of steep gorges and sculpted rice fields.
Cycling is the best way to see the famous Ubud rice fields and village life. Your trip will start from Baung Village and lead all the way to Nyuh Kuning Village. It’s a very safe ride with little traffic on the road, perfect with those without any cycling experience, it is recommended as an addition to an afternoon tour. All guides are locals who come from the surrounding regions and are trained to share their broad knowledge of Balinese culture and lifestyle with travelers.
If you only have time to do one tour whilst staying in Bali, this is the one! It will be a day packed with interest, education and fun!

Today you will have the best of culture and nature in a day. First, you will attend a playful introduction to the Balinese philosophy. The gracious Barong dance in Batubulan, performed by professional actors and dancers. Proceed to the rightfully famous woodcarving center of Mas. Young artisans with amazing skills emblaze tropical woods with life.
Then we will drive further to the east and enjoy the breathtaking view over the volcano and the Lake Batur, while having lunch in Penelokan, Kintamani. This is the largest lake in Bali and can be found in the smaller, secondary caldera of the Batur volcano, right at the foot of Mount Abang.
We will make the final stop at Tegalalang rice terraces for you to enjoy its stunning view before heading back to your hotel in Ubud.

After breakfast, we will drive to the harbor of Serangan for check-in on a high-speed boat to nearby Lombok. During the first part of the trip, don’t miss out on the stunning sight of Gunung Agung.
You will soon arrive on Gili Trawangan, a little tropical paradise with superb white sandy beaches, turquoise water, colourful fish and beautiful coral reefs. For the rest of the day you will be free to explore these magnificent surroundings.

* No motorized vehicles on the island, you can hire a cidomo (horse cart) if you wish to explore the island
* Speedboat transfer is not suitable for pregnant women, people with heart or back problems or other physical impediments and children under 5 years old.

We will start the day with a snorkeling excursion. After fitting on a snorkeling mask and flippers, you will depart by boat for a discovery trip to the rich underwater world around the Gili islands. The boat will stop at the best snorkeling locations. This is the best way to marvel at the impressive variety of fish and the beautiful coral reefs surrounding the small islands off the northwest coast of Lombok. Depending on the season, you might even spot sea turtles. Later you will return to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

We will leave Gili Trawagan in the morning and transfer on a traditional boat to the mainland and then depart to the northern part of Lombok. Today you will explore the traditional Sasak dwellings and drive up to Senaru village to enjoy the fascinating panorama of the majestic Rinjani volcano.
After lunch, we will depart to the central west coast following a scenic route through a mountain pass and a rainforest. You can also catch the sight of the local people producing sugar from the sugar palm tree.

Spend the morning at your leisure and later your guide will be waiting for you in the lobby and transfer you to Lombok airport for your flight back to Bali.
Upon arrival in Bali, you will stay at a hotel in Jimbaran before leaving Bali the next day. Jimbaran has changed from a charming fishing village into a pleasant and peaceful little resort. It is also where you can find one of the best beaches on the island. And the fresh-fish barbeques served up by the little stalls lining the beach as far as you can see are the very best seafood on the island.

After breakfast and a leisurely morning on your own, you will check out and your private driver will pick you up and take you to the airport for your departure flight.

Ms Lizzie Pham is my agent who help to plan 6pax family private tour for Vietnam trip (SAPA, Halong bay, Ninh Binh, Hanoi city). 8 days fully utilised base on my preferred attraction listed. Highly reccomend is SAPA. catcat village normal weekday is no crowd and suggest go in weekend because the local people will come to catcat village for shooting. makes the place lively. fansipan is 2nd choice must go. our time was -4 degree which we never experience before. 3rd choice must go is Alpine Coaster, guarantee you have heart beat drop fast moment. There have adventure activity like
self control rail coaster, sky ride bycycle, sky walk stairs etc
last but not least, tour guide they arranged for me are experienced, can speak english and helpful. Elly Do with Asia Pioneer was amazing in organizing a 9.5 week custom trip through SE Asia for us – intelligent, super-organized, efficient, and very clear in her communications. We did a LOT of our own research and sent her extensive lists of where we wanted to go what we wanted to see – she was very patient, going through the several revisions…it was concierge service! And from the moment we arrived in Bangkok to when we left Vietnam (with Laos and Cambodia in between), everything Asia Pioneer organized went like clockwork – pickups, accommodations, flights, tickets, guides and drivers…all perfect. The accommodations all matched closely with the guidance we had given Elly on quality, facilities etc.
Most of the guides spoke excellent English (for a couple in the hinterlands, it was passably OK). All had a passion for their country’s culture and history, and spending a few days with each of them in the car allowed us to have some wonderful conversations on more personal and nuanced topics.
Then when one of us needed to be hospitalized, Elly jumped in to facilitate communications, arrange extra nights in hotels, and then recover what refunds were possible for the final 1.5 weeks that we had to eliminate from the trip. You will not find a better tour operator!!
