We just returned from an incredible 18-day trip through Vietnam, organised by Asian Pioneer Travel, and we couldn’t be happier! Our journey started in Hanoi for the New Year’s Eve celebrations, then continued to Sapa, Hue, Hoi An, Phu Quoc, and back home. Every detail was handled flawlessly.
Highlights included hiking through the villages of Sapa, exploring Cat Cat Village, and taking the cable car up to Fansipan Mountain – even the fog couldn’t hide the beauty! We also enjoyed amazing tours like Ninh Binh and a fun cooking class. All internal flights, transfers, and 5-star hotels were perfectly arranged.

My family and me recently spent a week in Vietnam (from 23 Dec 2025 to 28 Dec 2025) touring the north of the country (covering Hanoi, Ha Long Bay) and the south (covering Ho Chi Minh City, Mekong Delta). It was a fantastic and all-round outstanding experience for me and each member of my family. Each of our destinations in the north and south of Vietnam offered us unique perspectives on Vietnam’s culture and history—Hanoi with its traditional charm, Ha Long Bay with its unique landscape, Ho Chi Minh City with its vibrant, modern energy and the Mekong Delta with its waterways supporting a wide variety of industries.
What really set this trip apart and contributed to the positive experience we had was the exceptional service provided by Asia Pioneer Travel. I would also like to acknowledge the contribution made by our excellent local guides: Eric in Hanoi and Jason in Ho Chi Minh City. Both were highly knowledgeable of every aspect of the tour they were guiding us through and they were very engaging at all times. They were passionate about sharing the history of Vietnam (especially the Vietnam War which I was particularly interested in) and the rich culture of each of their respective cities. Last but not least, they chose a combination of up market restaurants and street vendors for our various meals so that we could experience and enjoy the fantastic variety of Vietnamese cuisine out there. In my opinion, these insights of their truly added much value to our overall experience in Vietnam.

Chloe was our travel advisor and was very easy to work with. She took into consideration all of our interests before providing an itinerary and carefully crafted it based on where Christmas and NYE fell. Our itinerary was a mix of local culture in HCM City, beach relaxation in Phu Quoc Island, city exploration in Hoi An and Hanoi, and then ended in beautiful Halong Bay. It was the perfect way to end our trip. Our favorite activities were the Red Bridge cooking school, Halong Bay cruise and vespa food tour.

The hotels Chloe booked for us were amazing and the hospitality was incredible! We absolutely loved the daily breakfasts buffets and the accommodations. The tour guides were excellent too and very knowledgeable. What was most impressive was how they all helped us navigate the super crowded airports and bypass the lines to check in. And they waited until we were checked in before leaving!

Chloe was super responsive and was available to us 24/7! She met us personally in Hanoi which was really sweet. I highly recommend Asia Pioneer Travel if you plan to go to Vietnam and don’t want to worry about any of the logistics.
