Our experience with Asia Pioneer was marvelous. We planned an 18-day tour of Vietnam which we extended to 22 days. The planning Stage with our agent Ms. Chloe Tran Was meticulous and full of helpful details. Ms. Tran tirelessly worked to design the right tours, hotels, activities, food based on dietary restrictions and leisure time. On the ground in Vietnam the delivery was superfluous. We were guided by consummate professionals, and all trips, hotels, transportation and guides were more than we could ever expect. When we ran into issues with our return journey Chloe and her team helped us in ways we could only characterize as amazing. We would fully recommend using Asia Pioneer for all our friends and family and we plan to call upon Chloe and the entire team again. Best trip ever!!

We just got back from our Vietnam trip and honestly, everything went very smoothly.
The whole itinerary was well organized and easy to follow. All the transfers and tours were on time, and we didn’t have to worry about anything once we arrived.
Our guides were all friendly, easy to talk to and caring. Special mention to our guides: Mang (Sapa), Vinh (Hoi Han), Sang (Hue) Snow (Dong Hoi) . You can tell they really know their stuff and care about what they do.
Hotels were excellent, clean, and in convenient locations.
Special thanks to Emmy, our travel designer. She kept checking in with us during the trip to make sure everything was going well and if we needed anything. That made a big difference and gave us peace of mind. She got out of her way to send birthday flowers 💐💕.

What an amazing trip to Vietnam! We were so pleased with Asia Pioneer Travel, especially our senior travel designer, Winston. He was incredibly easy to work with—flexible, responsive, and an excellent communicator throughout the entire process.

We gave him a general outline of what we wanted to experience, and he exceeded our expectations by thoughtfully filling in the details. He introduced us to unique, less-traveled gems, arranged excellent accommodations, and connected us with personable and knowledgeable local tour guides.

My husband and I traveled to S E Asia for 6 weeks in April and May of 2025. I found Asia Pioneer Travel through an internet search, and I’m so thankful I did. Stella was our trip designer and responded promptly after I sent an online inquiry. After three conversations, we had a plan for Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam that included all the areas we wanted to see. Our trip was seamless! We had airport pickups, wonderful English speaking translator/guides and friendly drivers in each country, and the hotel choices were all excellent. We chose to stay in small boutique hotels that were all lovely and not overcrowded. The cities were, of course, very crowded, but not overcrowded with Americans, and our guides took us to their favorite out of the way spots for meals, special landmarks, and culturally important locations which made the trip so memorable. What we experienced will stay with us forever.

I have to give a special shout out to Mr. Oh and Meng in Bangkok and Stella. They were wonderful when I had a brief hospitalization and helped my husband tremendously shift arrangements, cancel and rebook flights and accommodations and provide emotional support. Meng even visited with me in the hospital! Every driver and translator for each new city, greeted us at the various airports, answered any questions we had, and our deep discussions as we travelled were very meaningful and deepened our understanding of S E Asia. As it is now almost one year later, we remember the people, the places, the culture and our visit as life changing. In February – March 2026, my husband and I ventured off to explore Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. We had a fantastic time learning about the culture, history and people. Our travel plan kept us busy almost every day exploring each destination. At the end of the day, we could relax in some wonderful boutique style hotels.

I found the trip very safe and the plan easy to follow, which allowed us to relax. We were greeted by guides at the airport and picked up the next day for tours. We told our travel coordinator that we also wanted to meet new people and so our plan included a mix of private and public tours. We met some interesting people from other countries and even met up with them in other cities along the way.

What truly elevated the experience, however, was working with our incredible travel agent, Maris Dang. She patiently collaborated with me over several months to build a 30-day itinerary, thoughtfully customizing each day to match our preferences. Despite the 14-hour time difference (which I occasionally forgot!), she was always gracious and responsive—even when I sent WhatsApp messages outside of normal working hours.

Maris supported us not only throughout the planning phase but also during our entire month-long journey. One of the most memorable personal touches was when she came to our hotel to meet my husband and me in person and surprised us with a gift—such a kind and thoughtful gesture!

During the trip, she remained just a message away, quickly helping with questions and even adjusting our plans when needed. With such a full itinerary, we found that, in our 60s, we needed to slow the pace a little. Maris handled everything seamlessly—no problem at all. She arranged the changes and ensured that the unused portions were credited back to our card, which we greatly appreciated.

Every guide we met along the way—from airport transfers to daily excursions—was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to making our trip enjoyable. It’s clear that Asia Pioneer Travel takes great care in hiring exceptional people.
