I spent the month of May in Southeast Asia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. Lizzie from Asia Pioneer planned the trip for me. A friend was with me for the Vietnam portion. The rest of the trip was solo. It was a wonderful experience all around. Each travel guide was was well qualified in their area of Asia. They were all so kind and accommodating. I never once felt unsafe as an older woman traveling alone. I was so lucky to find Lizzie and have her plan my trip and continue to coordinate things as I was traveling.

I would definitely recommend her expertise in planning a trip to this region of the world.

Jessica planned an incredible trip through Vietnam and Laos for four of us that was filled with adventure, culture, and unforgettable experiences. Everything was thoughtfully organized, and we always felt well taken care of throughout the journey. The hotels were excellent, our guides were knowledgeable and welcoming, and every detail was handled seamlessly.

One of our favorite experiences was spending an evening in Hanoi preparing a delicious dinner with a lovely local family in their home. Their hospitality was truly special and gave us a wonderful glimpse into Vietnamese culture. We were truly also amazed by the beauty of Sapa and our scenic cruise in Ha Long Bay, had an exceptional staff.

Laos exceeded our expectations with its breathtaking waterfalls, beautiful scenery, and the genuine kindness of its people. We enjoyed every part of this journey and returned home with wonderful memories and a deep appreciation for both countries.

We had 22 days of a curated trip from the top to the bottom of Vietnam designed for us specifically by Emmy Tran. What an experience! It was fantastic, we did more things then we could have on our own and every need and trip and event was catered to our wishes. We started the process with Emmy well in advance and it was only after several WhatsApp calls that she designed a visit just for us. We are an older couple and did not want to change hotels every day and spend hours on a bus just to see a place for an hour or two. Instead we were booked into hotels with 3 day stays and everyday a new set of adventures. We were met at every stop with a guide and driver and toured places filling our days with history, shows, fantastic food and great memories. Evenings were our own for exploring the area and sampling the variety of food and drink local to that place. We flew 4 times, did numerous boat adventures, ventured on every type of transportation available including an overnight train ride and a three day cruise on Lan Ha Bay, a cyclo ride, sampan boat, basket boat and riding double on a motorcycle in the city! Adventures included a full day of market shopping followed by a private cooking class, being rowed in a sampan boat on the Ngo Dong River, walking street food tours, catered lunches with special treats…just so much to experience and enjoy. WOW! The end of the trip was three days in Phu Quoc and I think we needed it just to unwind mind you one day was a snorkel trip though but the hotel was know for its relaxing atmosphere and fresh food. A great way to end the whole trip. All admission fees were covered in our package and we only paid for our evening meals and drinks.

We had the most incredible time in Vietnam. Every moment, every excursion, every guide, every location was fantastic!! I cannot thank Stella at Asia Pioneer Travel enough for all her help and guidance throughout the planning process. It truly was a trip of a lifetime that surpassed all expectations. We returned from an amazing 5-day spring break trip to Vietnam, visiting Hanoi and Hoi An, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience , especially thanks to Maris, our travel planner.

From the very beginning, Maris was incredibly attentive, organized, and thoughtful with every detail of our trip. Everything flowed smoothly, from transportation and accommodations to activities and recommendations. Her communication throughout the trip was excellent, and she was always available if we needed anything, which made traveling stress-free and enjoyable.

Hanoi was vibrant, exciting, and full of culture, while Hoi An was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Every part of the itinerary felt carefully planned and personalized for our family. We had the most mind blowing trip to Vietnam and Cambodia which was organised by Emmy who is amazing, she organised our trip which was to celebrate our 30th Wedding anniversary, we had a full action packed tour of Vietnam and Cambodia plus a Cruise which felt so private, from all our tour guides where super friendly and knowledgeable people, they all became friends rather than tour guides, we started in Hanoi where we met Emmy in person, picked up at the airport, toured Hanoi and then a mini cruise on the Halong Bay on to Hoi An & Da Nang then onto Ho Chi Minh full sightseeing was organised than onto Ben Tre to Chau Doc , onto to a speedboat to Cambodia ( Phnom Penh ) then onto Siem Reap and Angkor Wat then finally back to Hanoi for our flight home. The service I received was 2nd to none , a mind blowing experience, all tour guides spoke good English and were extremely knowledgeable. I recommend this tour company to the maximum, hotels were all 4 star and well located, we had plenty of excursions and to top it off Emmy had organised a lot of surprises for our wedding anniversary along the way.

At first I thought it was all a scam. But Maris. She truly is one of a kind. She overall assisted me in every way possible and reached out to me whenever I was unsure. She didn’t give up to my constant demands and last minute delays. I truly can’t thank her enough and travel pioneer for making my trip the best possible. And also I would like to thank my Tour guide Phu for making the trip worthwhile. He was very kind and patient. I couldn’t have asked for someone else as amazing and helpful as he was. Also my driver who didn’t speak much English but was very attentive, always smiling and super helpful in every way. He made sure we were Hydrated and had as much fun.
