I decided on a last minute solo trip to Vietnam. I was there from Dec 29 2024- Jan 12 2025. Started in Northern Vietnam (Hanoi, SaPa, Ha Long Bay), made my way to Central Vietnam (Da Nang and Hoi An) and finished in Southern Vietnam (Ho Chi Mihn and Mekong Delta).

I didnt have much time to plan it out, so I was figuring out how to maximize my experience. I had done some research and came across Asia Pioneer Travel. I read great reviews and decided to reach out to them. After an intial phone call, I was promptly emailed by Mr. Winston. Mr. Winston opened a line of communication with me and made sure he understood what kind of experience I was interested in. At, first i was thinking of visiting Vietnam and Cambodia. Mr. Winston created an itinerary for both Vietnam and Cambodia, and an itinerary for just Vietnam. I decided to to stick with spending 14 days in Vietnam. From there, Mr. Winston worked with me to help tailor an intinerary I was happy with. I let him know some things i wanted to to see and some areas I wanted to visit while there. He was always very quick and responsive to my requests. Once the itinerary was where i was happy, i went ahead and booked it. You can choose the type of hotels you want to stay in as well (1-4 Stars etc.) Everything was included in the final price (domestic flights, Hotels, tours with vehicle, airport transfers and even E-visa). The only thing i had to book myself was my flights to and from Vietnam. The best part was, all i had to do is show up! Most of my tours were private with a private vehicle. It did include some group tours as well. My initial concern was that my days would be jam packed and felt rushed. Well rest assure, it was completely opposite. I never felt like i didnt have time to enjoy something. Most late afternoons to evenings was leisure time. I did request a few days through out my trip be leisure days. So on those days you can do what ever you feel like doing. I usually used them to sleep in a little bit and go explore things not on my itinerary. Mr. WInston kept in touch with me from first contact all the way to the end of my trip. He always made sure everything was going smooth. He was always very quick to respond as well if I had a question or needed something while in Vietnam. I would highly reccomend using Asia Pioneer Travel, if you need help with planning out a SE Asia trip Itinerary. I will plan to use them again in the future!

All the mentioned tour guides were great. Very knowledgable and spoke great english. Really took their time to ensure they explain everything we are visiting thoroughly. Really ensured I learned and understood the history and different cultures in each area. Highly recommend!

We travelled to Vietnam (Hanoi, Sapa, HCM (Saigon) and Mekong Delta) and Cambodia (Siem Reap) and used Lizzie Pham from Asia Pioneer Travel to book all the transfers, guides and hotels. We couldn’t be happier with the travel arrangements. Lizzie and Elly were always there to check on how things were going and if something was brought to their notice, they would get it rectified immediately.

The highlights of our trip were the temple visits in Angkor Wat (Guide Ratnak was fantastic) and the homestay in the Mekong delta.

We recently returned from a 12-day trip to Vietnam that was organized by Asia Pioneer Travel. Cherry was fantastic; she organized and communicated everything perfectly. Would recommend them without reservation.

We went from 12/18-24 to 1/3/25 on the SE Asia natural and food discovery tour. My wife and I decided to go on this trip in November without any prior knowledge of this company and very little in the countries we would visit. Mr Winston and Asia Pioneer Travel could not have been nicer to us. They delivered everything they promised in their trip. I was a bit concerned about this trip as we had been to India before and the sites and food are more exotic than most places. However, the guides were great and we got picked up and dropped off and had a guide with us to make the many activities we had go smoothly. The guides were happy to help is with whatever we needed including carrying lots of ice, cold bottles water for us.
We have travelled overseas extensively and this is one of the most action packed and memorable trips we have had.
At our request, this travel company switched part of our visit from Phuket, Thailand to Angkor Wat, Cambodia (which is the biggest religious site in the world and has some awesome temples) and they added a water puppet show (so fun) in Hanoi for us. We enjoyed the itinerary. We saw many different sites and tried many types of food on the food tours. We couldn’t have been happier on this trip. We highly recommend them. Great trip! Cherry crafted a wonderful trip for my family of 4 with private guides and drivers in several cities between Vietnam and Cambodia to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Day. Our entire trip was full of interesting information and great food! Our guides were great, all with a wealth of knowledge regarding the sites they took us to and we were even able to take a few side trips off the beaten path to see the real Vietnam and Cambodia, not just the touristy areas. Overall we had an excellent trip and would definitely use Asia Pioneer Travel to plan future holidays.

Chloe planned the most fabulous family trip! We saw, ate, and explored our way through 3 different cities with no hiccups. She took into account any food allergies and crafted a trip centered around food, culture and art which we asked for. Us nor our kids were ever bored. My family of 5 went to Vietnam during December 2024/January 2025. It was a 7 day trip split between Hanoi and Hoi An. We worked with Lizzie as our representative and she was nothing short of amazing. We have small children (6,4, and 2). The trip she recommended accounted for our travel needs as a family with small ones. She was accommodating, professional, and timely in her communication.
