We have just returned from a holiday of a lifetime in SE Asia. The main part of our trip was a 34 day tour with Asia Pioneer.

I traveled to Vietnam with my husband and his parents/siblings on a customized private tour to Hoi An, Sapa, Ha Long Bay, and Hanoi. From the first inquiry to our very last day of the trip, the service, communication, and experience was beyond expectations. This trip was so well planned. We had a lot of activities for us to see the sights and still had a lot of free time to explore on our own. I have never booked a tour like this and it’s ruined me for future travels. I don’t want to go back to me planning everything. Chloe did an amazing job planning this trip. We had a tour guide and driver everywhere. Shout out to jack. He was awesome. When we got back in the car they had water and a little wet towel. The tour guides were amazing and I don’t think I would have been able to plan this trip myself eith all of these activities. Our family had an absolutely wonderful experience using Asian Pioneer Travel Company. From the very first email and text from Chloe to the last goodbye at the airport from our driver to go home and ending with the follow-up emails once we got home was al amazing and more than we could have ever imagined. This was a once in a lifetime experience for my husband and myself as well as our three children, 13,10,8. We all learned so much history and enjoyed seeing the different regions of Vietnam. Starting from the North in Hanoi, then to DaNang, Hoi Ann, and lastly to Hoi Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta cruise. From the north to the south we’re so different and so unique in its own ways. We absolutely loved the small groups and riding bikes around the different small villages. The children loved the markets and barging and the relaxing delta cruise was a perfect ending. Overall it was a wonderful vacation and one we will treasure for a lifetime! A huge thank you to Eric,in Hanoi, Ken on the ha long bay cruise, cong on the biking excursion while on cruise, Bobby our waiter who was amazing, and especially jughy on the Bassac Cruise and Mekong Delta! My family and I stumbled across Asia Pioneer and we had the wonderful Chloe as our travel agent for our Vietnam/Thailand trip. Everything was organised for us, from the itinerary, to accommodation, tour guides, drivers, flights and activities.
It costed quite a bit, however well worth it if you don’t want to worry about having to organise anything.

I highly recommend!!!
My only feedback would be that the payment system with Asia Pioneer is not straight forward and they invoice and quote in US $ so if you are from other countries tries the conversion rates and credit card fees etc become quite confusing and it ends up costing more than expected.

They request a 30% deposit upfront which is fine, but then you pay another amount a month th before the trip, and then the final amount in cash on the day of arriving in Vietnam.
I recommend you get the cash out in your country before arriving to Vietnam as the ATM’s only allow you to get out a very small amount (3 million vietnamese dong) at a time.

However other than that, highly recommend !!

Chloe from Asia Pioneer Travel planned an extraordinary trip for my husband and myself to Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Hong Kong. CHLOE!!! what can I say but OUTSTANDING!! We were a group of four – husband/wife and one male and one female friend. We did a bike tour in Vietnam with Grasshopper tours just before a three week trip to Las, Thailand and Cambodia. The bike tour was all planned for us and really great but Asia Pioneer CHLOE was just a dream find. We had contacted another travel company at the same time as we did Chloe. We had all done separate research into all of the countries that we wanted to visit and were a but overwhelmed with all the logistics of travel and accommodations and tours. I submitted our proposed itinerary to =Chloe and the other tour company. The other company tried pretty hard to change our minds about a couple of places that we wanted to visit. Chloe never did. She really listened to what we wanted to do and se – a bit off the beaten path for most people – but she made it work! I would need a rating higher than 5 stars for her. Ms. Chloe was fantastic at helping me plan my solo trip! She really listened to what I wanted to see and acompish on my trip. Within a day she had a working itinerary with all that I wanted to do as well as suggestions for additional attractions that really showcased the areas! She arranged daily private tour guides and private daily transporation and airport transfers. The local tour guides in each city were professional, helpful and extreamly knowledgeable. Our experience with Asia Pioneer was marvelous. We planned an 18-day tour of Vietnam which we extended to 22 days. The planning Stage with our agent Ms. Chloe Tran Was meticulous and full of helpful details. Ms. Tran tirelessly worked to design the right tours, hotels, activities, food based on dietary restrictions and leisure time. On the ground in Vietnam the delivery was superfluous. We were guided by consummate professionals, and all trips, hotels, transportation and guides were more than we could ever expect. When we ran into issues with our return journey Chloe and her team helped us in ways we could only characterize as amazing. We would fully recommend using Asia Pioneer for all our friends and family and we plan to call upon Chloe and the entire team again. Best trip ever!!

Chloe was responsive while booking our trip always answered any questions I had . We did book a luxury trip so wasn’t inexpensive. When I book a luxury experience I do except the best guides and Service . I have now discovered there is no difference in guides you just get what you get doesn’t matter who or what agency books don’t expect there English will be good out of the 4 guides we had 2 we liked. Hotels were what we expected except for our last hotel in Laos was definitely not good at all horrible actually. These things happen of holidays
it’s never perfect. But what I do except from a high end travel agent is maybe a personal check in from the agent asking how things are going . We didn’t hear from Asia pioneer again once everything was finalized . Something it just takes a few small gestures to leave a lasting impression.
I wouldn’t give Asia pioneer a Bad review but Iv also had better perceived value from what’s suppose to be a luxury holiday of a life time..Asia pioneer didn’t disappoint but also didn’t shine bright enough for me to books further vacations.

We had a wonderful experience with Asia Pioneer Travel (APT). I was traveling to Vietnam for a conference and my wife and I wanted to do some sightseeing afterwards. We were not sure how to navigate the country on our own. We found high ratings for APT on TripAdvisor so wrote to them. We received a response from Chloe almost immediately. We had indicated some places we thought we wanted to see (based on some information from my conference’s website), including going to Cambodia to see Angkor Wat. Very quickly, Chloe provided us with a potential tour plan, including many details to let us know what would happen. Most of it suited our needs, but we asked for something else and Chloe modified the plans immediately!

The actual tour matched the planned tour very closely and was great! After talking to some friends, we asked for a somewhat minor adjustment to one day, and Chloe made that happen as well (at a small additional cost).

Our tour guides were very friendly, informative and helpful. In some cases their accent was difficult for us to understand, but that was very minor. We learned a great deal and saw some amazing places, including Ha Long Bay, Da Long and Hoi Ann, Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. In addition, the food was amazing! We were able to eat at some of the best places in the cities we visited and the menus were all planned for us.

Having (air-conditioned) transportation was indispensable and made moving through the country carefree. The tour included an overnight cruise in Ha Long Bay and flights to move across the country and into Cambodia. The drivers were careful and friendly and always provided us cold water (which was needed, because Vietnam and Cambodia are very hot and humid in late June!). One even provided us with cold, wet clots to help cool down quickly when returning to the car.

We highly recommend Asia Pioneer Travel to anyone looking to create a customized and personalized trip to Southeast Asia!

Chlie hit it out of the park on our 30 days Nieth to South Vietnam. Went with my daughter and friend. Being born during the war and half Vietnamese, I wanted my daughter to see the land where it all started. 25 different locations with 14, five star hotels along with private boat tours and 3 days on Enperor Cruises Halong Bay. You cant get more upscale than that. The guides in each region/ location were awesome and knew their stuff. All were consummate professionals ensuring we were comfortable. Tony, Sy, Mr. One, Vinh, Thuy, Tom and Joe exceeded our expectations in knowledge, friendliness and went beyond to see that we were happy with everything. Two of the guides hold our hearts, Vinh and Tom, if I could have, I would have smuggled them home in my suitcase. My daughter and I met family we never knew we had in Ben Tre and Buen Hoa, I got to see the school I went to and the home I grew up in before coming to the States when my dad ended his last tour. Thank you to Chloe and her team. I will be back, next time with my husband.

Chloe was our travel advisor and was very easy to work with. She took into consideration all of our interests before providing an itinerary and carefully crafted it based on where Christmas and NYE fell. Our itinerary was a mix of local culture in HCM City, beach relaxation in Phu Quoc Island, city exploration in Hoi An and Hanoi, and then ended in beautiful Halong Bay. It was the perfect way to end our trip. Our favorite activities were the Red Bridge cooking school, Halong Bay cruise and vespa food tour.

The hotels Chloe booked for us were amazing and the hospitality was incredible! We absolutely loved the daily breakfasts buffets and the accommodations. The tour guides were excellent too and very knowledgeable. What was most impressive was how they all helped us navigate the super crowded airports and bypass the lines to check in. And they waited until we were checked in before leaving!

Chloe planned the most fabulous family trip! We saw, ate, and explored our way through 3 different cities with no hiccups. She took into account any food allergies and crafted a trip centered around food, culture and art which we asked for. Us nor our kids were ever bored. After speaking with two other family friends, we booked our vacation through Chloe and it was one of the best trips we have been on. We spent 10 days traveling from Siem Reap, Cambodia to Hoi An, Halong Bay and Hanoi, Vietnam. As a family of 5 (Kids ages 8,5, &3) it is hard to find accommodations and activities that meet the needs of all family members. However everyone came back happy campers. We loved every activity and all the food was wonderful. We saw temples, rode bikes, explored downtowns and went kayaking. Hands down worth every penny.

We have just come back from a fabulous 16 day trip to Vietnam organised by Chloe from Asia Pioneer. We travelled from Hanoi, to Sapa had a night in Hanlong Bay then flew to central Vietnam for a few days and then flew down to Ho Chi Min and travelled down to Mekong Delta so we certainly saw a lot of the country. We travelled with our 2 teenage kids and the full itinerary Chloe organised was perfect for us. So many memorable experiences, trekking through the scenic hillside in Sapa, local markets, overnight train to Hanoi, cooking classes, bike ridding through small villages, walking food tour and the tunnels in Ho Chi Min, these were just some of the wonderful things we experienced.
Everything was so well organised, once we arrived we didn’t have to worry about a thing everything ran smoothly. All the guides that we had a long way were fantastic and add to our experience. The hotels exceeded our expectations and I especially loved the cute little bungalows we stayed on on the Mekong River.
I would definitely recommend Vietnam for a family holiday with teenagers. And I would certainly recommend Chloe from Asia Pioneer.

We booked our 15 day discovery of Vietnam through Asia Pioneer Travel, and Chloe was amazing. Her communication from the outset of planning and right through our trip, was truly outstanding. A trip of a lifetime from Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Hue, Hoi An, HCMC / Saigon, Mekong Delta and Mui Ne. A mix of tourism, meeting with local people, going-off the beaten path and sampling delicious local foods in restaurants we would never have found . We had the best time in Vietnam, exploring so many places. It was our first time using a travel agency and guides. We want to tell you personally how impressed were were with the level of service that we received…it was amazing and the best that we have experienced anywhere. After we made initial contact with you, you handed us over to Chloe to arrange the trip which she did in very quick time and the amount of detail that she went to was fantastic. From the moment that we walked out of Hanoi airport on arrival to see our guide waiting, we knew that we were in for a great trip. The drivers & guides were fantastic and Chloe was in contact by email constantly making sure that everything was going to plan & that we were happy. Last month, we celebrated my wife’s birthday with an 11-day Vietnam tour arranged by Chloe at Asia Pioneer Travel. Starting in Hanoi, we cruised Halong Bay, explored Mai Chau’s Avana Retreat, visited Hoi An before its rainy season, and ended in Ho Chi Minh City where a scooter tour was a highlight. The guides were knowledgeable and fun, the accommodations excellent, and we highly recommend Chloe.

Wonderful experience working with Chloe in Asia pioneer travel. She was very helpful especially when my husband broke his leg and delay our whole trip from November 2024 to March 2025. She helped us to claim insurance for trip cancellation.

This is our second time using Asia Pioneer Travel. They once again blew us away! Everything was perfectly planned. This time we decided on an island vacation. Chloe was amazing. She made all accommodations we requested, was super flexible, and ensured best customer service. She was attentive and sweet. She was available when I ran into issues with my visa at the airport. Im sure a 3rd trip with Asia will be in the works.

A solo three country trip, planned one month prior to travel, but it turned out sooooo goood!

There were a lot of things that stood out to me during my two week trip to three countries (Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos), but the below things are my top 3:

1: Chloe, Asia Pioneer’s Travel Agent. She planned my extensive, busy trip one month prior to me coming since I am a last minute planner. She quickly responded back to any and all of my questions I asked, such as what should I wear and should I get money out prior to coming. She modified my itinerary based off my interest and everything truly was to my liking.
2: My last minute trip felt like it had been planned months prior. Everything was smooth. All in all, I took 5 flights, 1 long car ride, two trains and not counting the endless tours I went on and there were never any issues. I always had someone waiting for me as soon as I got off my mode of transportation.
3. Lastly, my favorite thing was the comfortability and ease I felt travelling. Like I said, I was a last minute solo traveler. Having a tour guide with me throughout my journey who helped me navigate shopping, restaurants, explained what i was looking at, and not to mention acted as my photographer was the best feeling! I met so many people travelling on their own and they were struggling to navigate transportation between destinations. They were not able to get the same amount of activities and countries I was able to accomplish within the two week time period. Furthermore, three countries in two weeks should feel like work in itself, but having the tour guide to bring me water, carry my bags, get me my meals for me definitely did not feel like work!

I will be booking with them again! I have a lot more Asian countries to see and only so many vacation days, so I have to maximize my itinerary and Asia Pioneer Travels did just that!

I travelled in a small group of 5. We had an excellent experience with Chloe Tran our trip designer. She answered all our questions and customized a few things for our trip to Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. The guides and drivers for each location were all very good. We were well served with cold water at every stop. The hotels were very comfortable and the breakfast buffets were excellent. The meals included on the tour were very good too. We really enjoyed the foodie tour on vespas in Saigon. The scenery throughout this region is so beautiful and we will not forget our experiences with the people there. Oh, we enjoyed the fun time with the elephants in Chiang Mai too!

We had a exceptionally well planed out trip buy Chloe from Asia pioneer travel. We went from North Vietnam to south.then to Cambodia. Then thiland. Total trip of 33 days. Everything was first class from tours to guides and hotels that were spectacular All were well planned out and kept us going. With breaks, in-between. From temples to food and markets. So much to see and do. If u ever want to go to southeast don’t be afraid to use Chloe from Asia pioneer. She will do you excellent. We are so happy with out trip that we tell all out friends that are skeptical not to be the abominations and people are just so friendly and helpful you will be amazed.

We were touring South East Asia and decided three weeks beforehand that we had an eight day window in our itinerary that was vacant. We looked online and discovered that many tour companies in Vietnam offered tours that fit our timeline. After contacting numerous companies, one company, in particular, stood out. Asia Pioneer travels, agent Chloe ,contacted us personally through what’s app. Other companies only emailed us. Chloe took the time to discuss our timeline and what itinerary would meet our needs and budget. The tour was quick but amazing. In eight days, we went from Hanoi to Ho chi Minh. At each stop, we had amazing tour guides and accommodations. We had motorcycle tours in Hoi An, jeep city tour in Saigon and everything in between. We told Chloe that we were foodys, and Chloe made sure that this was incorporated into the tour. On our second night, Chloe personally came to meet us at the hotel and made sure everything was meeting our expectations. She even presented us with gifts! Chloe reassured us that we had her support 24/7 in case there were any issues. There were none! We loved Vietnam and will not hesitate to let friends and family know about Chloe and Asia Pioneer travel tours. Everything was amazing 10 out of 10.

Chloe was our tour operator who arranged our tour. She was beyond fantastic. Tailored it to our needs and what we wanted to see. Extremely personal and professional. The hotels she chose were very comfortable and close to the main sight seeing spots. Us being vegetarian, she made sure the guides took us to places where we could enjoy local veg food. The guides were knowledgeable and attentive.
Only fault if I could find one was the 5 hour long wait at the airport in Hanoi for our connecting flight. Other than that, the entire trip was perfect. Halong Bay cruise, Phuket stay, Saigon, Hanoi – would give them all a 5 on 5. To Chloe, I would give a 20 on 5. She is amazing and we plan to use her services for future trips.
