From May 9th to May 12th, 2025, our team came together for a meaningful and energizing 4-day company trip to Siem Reap, Cambodia — a destination rich in culture, heritage, and inspiration. This wasn’t just a vacation; it was a chance for our team to reconnect, reflect, and reignite the spirit that fuels our work every day.
A Journey Through Culture and Connection
Day 1: Arrival & Anticipation
As our team members touched down in Siem Reap, there was an air of excitement — some visiting Cambodia for the first time, others returning to a place close to their hearts. After settling in, we gathered for a welcome meeting where we aligned our goals for the trip: team bonding, cultural appreciation, and, of course, fun.
Day 2: Sunrise, Temples, and Togetherness
We kicked off our second day bright and early with a breathtaking sunrise at Angkor Wat — a sight that reminded us why we’re in the business of meaningful travel.
The day continued with an immersive Angkor Temple Tour, where we explored the architectural wonders of ancient Cambodia.
But this wasn’t your typical temple visit — we also added a playful twist with a team game that brought out everyone’s creativity and cooperation.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, we enjoyed a tranquil Gondola boat ride, soaking in the beauty of the ancient moat.
The evening concluded with a graceful Apsara dance performance after dinner — a vivid display of Khmer cultural heritage that left us in awe.
Day 3: Floating Villages and Flavorful Memories
Our third day took us to Tonlé Sap Lake, where we explored the famous floating villages. This eye-opening experience allowed us to witness local life up close and deepened our appreciation for the communities we help travelers connect with.
Back in town, the team got hands-on in a Khmer cooking class — chopping, sizzling, and laughing our way through delicious local recipes. Cooking together brought out both our teamwork and our appetite!
In the evening, we were wowed by the Phare Cambodian Circus — a blend of storytelling, acrobatics, and powerful messages that spoke to the resilience and creativity of the Cambodian people.
Day 4: A Beautiful Farewell
Our final morning was a relaxed one — some took the chance to explore, others to reflect. In the afternoon, we visited the intricate Banteay Srei Temple, also known as the “Citadel of Women,” with its stunning pink sandstone carvings. It was the perfect, peaceful ending to our journey.
